Whoa! That's one thing we don't see here, even though it gets insanely cold.
Beautiful.

Wow, you never get Ice storms there? I'm surprised.

You'd love it here in Canada, Mari. Winter drops well past -20 and we get snow fall 4 or 5 months out of the year.. :snowing:

Good! It's one of the places I could actually move if I had to leave Estonia. I'm not going anywhere where there's no winter!

;) You got me beat -12C

So how come you like it so cold?
Me, I like going out for walks on cold crisp winter days but not frost bite cold.

I don't know.. cold makes me feel more alive somehow. And the world in winter always looks prettier when it's properly cold. Sun and endless glittering fields of snow.. I love it.

 Excellent points!

Winter can also sometimes have a certain kind of way, of bringing family and friends, closer together. I think it may have a lot to do with our need to keep safe and warm.
Did you ever use a fire place for heat growing up? I did my whole life, until I was 17. My family relied completely on our wood burning stove, for heating our home.
I fondly remember the fire place room, always being the most popular place, in our house hold. During the long winter months, you’d always find people in there, all times of the day. They’d be fiddling with the wood stove, having conversations or just reading a book.

Thanks a lot and no it's not.
I snaped it up, off a creek bed just on the out skirts, of the city of Niagara Falls, ONT.
It was after a huge Ice Storm.
